PASTOR OMOTOSO BARRED FROM PREACHING IN EAST LONDON
EAST LONDON – Buffalo City Metro Mayor Princess Faku has firmly declared that controversial Pastor Tim Omotoso will not be allowed to preach or host any event within the city’s facilities.
The statement comes after Omotoso’s church, Jesus Dominion International, announced plans for an eight-day religious conference at the Orient Theatre in East London, scheduled from May 4 to May 11.
Mayor Faku responded unequivocally:
“No Omotoso will be allowed to use any facility within this municipality. I don’t care whether payment has been made or not—he is simply not welcome in our metro,” she said.
Omotoso remains a polarizing figure due to his ongoing legal issues, including charges related to human trafficking and sexual assault. The announcement by the city may signal a wider resistance to his public engagements pending the outcomes of his legal proceedings.
