The Progressive Primary Health Care gives back to the community

The Progressive Primary Healthcare (PPHC) distributed food parcels to Umlazi community based organizations. Namely Vukani community center and Ekhanana Old age group, the Vukani community center one of their programmers is empowering people living with disabilities. By giving them 12 months learnership in farming. 

One of the students said he has opened his own company that deals with agriculture and he said, he is grateful to Vukani Community Centre. 

The founder Jabulile Khambule said despite the challenges they have, they are happy that they make a an impact in the community. She added that she is appealing to the Department of Social Development, Department of Health and other NGOs to intervene. This intervention will help the community to minimize social ills.

The Ekhanana Old Age Home manager Mr Jabulane Kunene said he is grateful to PPHC for the food parcels because, they will not spend much on groceries. As they normally do he said that the remaining balance will help on the necessities of the Home.
