Chesterville Uncle successfully arrested after a long search of attempted murder of his nephew

The police have successfully arrested Sduduzo Nkosinathi Mavundla (29) on the evening of the 25th of November 2025, in Hebron on the North West with the help of Brits Crime Intelligence and Brits Trio Task Team which they spotted him on one of the tarvens and arrest was made. The Police said the suspect will be brought to Durban soon, to appear in court. This arrest comes from the long searching of the suspect, accused for attempting murder of his 9 years old nephew by stabbing him on the face at Phola Area, Chesterville on 4 January 2024. The warrant of arrest was granted in September 2024.
