Durban- Police raided Durban South Beach shops in Southpoint to be specific. SARS Customs also take part in the raid, this shops are owned by foreign nationals who doesn`t have proper documantation and they does not pay tax. Police were able to found R200 000 in cash and counterfeit goods of which approximately worth R37 Million. And they were 5 arrests made and moreover, they were foreignn nationals. Those goods are big brands of which they are luxury brands namely Gucci, Prada, Amiri and many more. 

Brigadier Lategan said " the goods will be taken to the counterfeit depot, where they will be counted, audited and then eventually it will be distroyed later on." He then added that this is the first operation, there are still more operatons to come here in Durban and the rest of KwaZulu Natal. With the backing of the National Commissioner Leiutenant General Mkhwanazi. South Africa has a challenge of foreign nationals, who have shops that are not complying. Lately there are cases of children being admitted to hospital due, to the consumption of food that is sold in the spaza shops owned by foreign nationals. South Africans are not happy with the foreign nationals, they are pleading to the government to intervene.
