Young Man Found Dead After Shooting in Davenport

A 20-year-old man was found dead after being shot multiple times in Davenport, Umbilo, on Thursday evening.
ALS paramedics responded to the scene at the corner of Che Guevara Road and Cleaver Road shortly after 6 PM, where they discovered the victim inside a crashed vehicle. Several security guards were present near the car, but the young man was unconscious and had already succumbed to his injuries.
The motive for the attack remains unknown, and police have launched an investigation. Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward.
This incident adds to the growing concern over gun violence in Durban, with residents calling for increased police presence and security measures in the area.
