Body of Infant Found in Trash on West Street, Durban

A tragic discovery was made in the early hours of Friday morning on West Street, Durban, when a man searching for food came across the lifeless body of an infant inside a bin.
According to reports, the man was rummaging through the bin at around 2:00 a.m. when he noticed something wrapped in newspaper. Upon closer inspection, he realized it was the body of an infant. He immediately stopped nearby security guards from Ensure Security to alert them about what he had found.
The guards rushed to the scene and promptly contacted the police. Authorities arrived shortly thereafter and confirmed the heartbreaking discovery, securing the area for investigation.
An official investigation is now underway to determine who is responsible. Police have urged anyone with information that could assist the investigation to come forward and contact them.
